#GBW18 EVENT REGOS CLOSE IN TWO WEEKS!

There are only two weeks left to register your awesome event for Good Beer Week 2018! Registrations for the eighth Good Beer Week close at midnight on Tuesday, 31 October, so if you haven't got your events in yet, then get cracking or risk missing the cut!

If you wish to host an event during the festival, which runs from May 12 to 20 next year, then submit your ideas and impress the organising committee with your brilliance and ingenuity.

Good Beer Week 2018 is all about showing Melbourne that it's more than just beer, but it is still up to you to make it the most creative, innovative and game-changing beer festival yet. Read over the Event Guidelines and Charter, and then show us what you've got! We want to see the best that Melbourne has to offer!

The Good Beer Week committee will be meeting the same week registrations close, so there will be NO EXTENSIONS offered.

Putting together a fantastic program requires a long lead time and we expect to be overwhelmed with applications. Don’t leave it too late, as chopping late submissions will help us keep numbers down!

Once your event has been approved by the Good Beer Week committee in November, you have until January 31 to finalise your details.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

As the deadline approaches, we've received a few questions that we want to make sure you all get the answers to. Read on to see if your query has been answered below.

  • You need to set up a new login for 2018 as we remove all previous data for privacy reasons.
  • If you took part last year your venue details may still be saved, so once you’ve logged in you can select them. Just double check all the venue and contact details are up to date and haven’t changed.
  • We do not require absolutely every detail of your event by October 31. We appreciate that we are still a long way from the festival so guest brewers, entertainment, menus, etc will not necessarily be known. However, please do your best to sell the overall concept at this point. If accepted, you will have until January 31 to finalise details for the print program.
  • The Good Beer Week committee will collate all of the event submissions after registrations close on October 31. We will let venues know if they have been successful by the middle of November. If your event is not successful, you will be refunded your registration fee, minus a 10 percent administration fee.
