#GBW18 EVENT REGISTRATIONS OPEN ON OCTOBER 1
Oh yes, it's that time of year!
Event registrations for Good Beer Week 2018 open on Sunday 1 October, 2017 and will remain open until midnight on Tuesday 31 October, 2017!
If you haven't thought about #GBW18 yet, now is the time to do so! For the 2018 festival, we want to see unique, exciting events that go beyond the beer bubble and prove that good beer deserves a place everywhere!
Taking place from May 11-20, 2018, the eighth Good Beer Week will include breweries from all around the world, incredible chefs, venues, and unique opportunities to tap into a market of beer lovers who have an appreciation of flavour, and love to seek out unique experiences all across Melbourne.
As a Good Beer Week venue or brewery, you will be promoted to more than 75,000 attendees, making it the perfect opportunity to establish yourself as a must-visit spot for Melbourne foodies and visitors alike.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN 2018
In 2018, good beer can play just as well with fine dining as it can down at the pub on a Saturday afternoon. So for #GBW18, we want you to think outside the beer bubble!
Consider creating events that tick off one or more of the following:
- High end or new restaurants/venues doing their first GBW event;
- Events in the south and west of Melbourne;
- Events featuring live music or a sporting element;
- Food focused events that go beyond the usual 'meat and beer' pairing;
- New breweries, beer launches, and special events exclusive to GBW;
- Events featuring local artisan businesses such as distilleries and food producers;
- Events that celebrate good beer's place in Melbourne - which can be anywhere!
As in previous years, we will divide events into four streams: Beer Lover, Foodie, Beer Geek, and Good Times.
Our friends at Boatrocker will once again host Boatrocker Beer School, and Pint of Origin, presented by The Crafty Pint, will be back for more as well.
We will be capping registations in each stream to allow for curation of the overall festival, so make sure you give us as much information about your amazing event as possible, to ensure yours makes the cut!
