The beer world would be a different place without Bridge Road Brewers. One of the originals of the modern beer movement, it launched in 2004 and has been leading the way since. This year it's on board as an Official Festival Brewery as well as sponsoring the Active Beers program.
Kick your GBW 2021 off nice and early for a run or a walk around the Botanical Gardens. At 9am on the first Saturday, meet up at the 'tan, and for each lap you complete Bridge Road will give you a tinnie. Nice and simple, and a healthier way to kick off the week.
The following day, get on your bike and join them for a 60km ride, before finishing at the Brunswick Velodrome where there will be a celebration with games, family activities, and food. Plus beer from Bridge Road and Bentspoke.
During the week, the legendary Horn Please dinner takes place on Tuesday May 18. The event is a regular sell out every year, and is almost gone this year. Be quick if you want to find out what all the fuss is about. You won't regret the decision. Friday sees them at Near & Far with friends Uraidla Brewery for a takeover and masterclass. An excellent opportunity to join two of the best in the country to drink and learn.
Then finish off your week in the surf, at URBNSURF, for perfect waves. Have a surf, build your appetite, then enjoy lunch from Three Blue Ducks, and beers from Bridge Road. A beer event like no other, this is brings together an incredible experience, with famous chefs, and great beer.
