Each Saturday, we've been dialling in some Indie Brewers and bringing them to your house via YouTube. We taste some beer, talk some beer, and find out a little bit about each brewery and brewer.
It's a great way to send an afternoon. Check out the links for beer details, and stream information. Don't forget to hit subscribe on YouTube (then hit the bell) for all updates.
Urban Alley Brewery can be found in Docklands just past the big wheel, and since 2018 has been creating beers with serious green credentials. There is waste water treatment onsite, and brewery waste is turned into natural gas. It was also the first brewery to use compostable six pack rings. They also happen to make great beer as well. We'll taste Blush, a raspberry American wheat; and Alley Dangler, a smokey lager. Two unique beers that bring the brewpub into your home.
You can find a list of stockists, or purchase the beer direct, from the Urban Alley website.

Hawkers is one of Melbourne's most recognisable and loved breweries, but it has its roots in Lebanon. Founder Mazen Hajjar also founded Lebanon's first ever craft brewery, 961, before falling in love with Australia when visiting here hawking beer. Today we'll taste the double IPA, Steph Likes a Party; and new release Around the Orchard We Roam, a kettle sour with lactose and peach.
You can find a list of stockists, or purchase the beer direct, on the Hawkers website.
